This is the second to last day of full-day rehearsal. Usually the girls meet at Yerba Buena High School for practice, but today they meet at Mt. Pleasant High School.
It’s a tradition and a unique trademark of the Miss Vietnam of Northern California Pageant (Hoa Hậu Áo Dài Bắc Cali) to work along side with the Mt. Pleasant Marine Corps Junior ROTC Color Guard. The Guards not only assist the contestants out on stage during the evening gown competition but they also help with the guest arrivals, security and the show opening.
The girls are assigned their contestant numbers by height.
Lunch time! The menu for today is chow mein, eggrolls, sushi and guacamole-bean dip.
